![]() Seeing Mabel and Pacifica find some common ground and defeat the Lili-putt-ians together was great, and so was their epiphany about friendship beating rivalry. The Lili-putt-ians were a really fun and adorable idea, and I'm really glad that Franz was voiced by Patton Oswalt, as he is one of my favourite voice actors. This episode was very random, which I liked a lot. The battle between the two Wendys was really cool, too, and I was really glad that Dipper finally confessed his feelings to Wendy, even though it's sad that she's too old for him. Though I did get suspicious with how creepily excited he seemed to be when looking through the journal, and even though I wasn't quite sure what, part of me knew something was up. I was certainly NOT expecting the "author" to be fake and turn out to be a shape-shifter, as his apparent backstory made perfect sense, not to mention he was literally EXACTLY what I would have expected the author to look like. ![]() The mystery of the bunker and all the things hidden down there that belonged to the author was such an exciting step. ![]() This episode opened up SO many new questions when I first watched it. Also when Stan and Dipper both made that promise but both crossed their fingers. That song gets stuck in my head for ages. And as for the revelation of the invisible ink, WELL! I NEVER saw that coming! The three of them singing Taking Over Midnight together to defeat the zombies was awesome. I loved the "raise the dead" joke, about how it was the one thing Dipper said he wouldn't do and it was the one thing he did do, and Soos getting zombified was just priceless, especially when he said "Give it up, dude! Your fighting only makes us look more rad!" Also Stan battling the zombies and saying "The only wrinkly monster who harasses my family is me!" Also how he revealed he'd known the paranormal secrets of Gravity Falls. In honesty, I never really tend to hang onto those things when I'm bingeing a show, cause I'm too busy watching the next episodes to think about the previous ones. I did notice that Stan's glove had six fingers when I first watched it, which I think my gut knew meant something, but my brain didn't really hang onto. Seeing the wrap-up from Gideon Rises was cool, including the mysterious machine from the journals that had been in Stan's basement all along.
